Open Question: Where can you get an unsecured loan in Canada. My credit it not the greatest.?
I am looking for $1500.00-$2000.00. Every web site is American or they want a membership fee.

Open Question: Whats my best option re my ex buying me out my half of the mortgage?
My b/f at the time and I brought a flat for £165k, and got a 85% mortgage for about £153k and an unsecured loan (via Northern Rock) for £22k meaning we owed a total of £175k, unfort we brought right at the top of the credit crunch about two years ago…
Anyway, we have now split up and he has said his dad is looking to buy me out. we have neg equity as the flat is only worth about £160k-ish right now.
I’m going to try to find some cheap legal advice but can anyone gulde me a little please?
Ive also been told that I could get a pay out, but my ex said £5k or £6k tops…. does this sound right?

Q. What capital did you contribute towards the deposit?
A. Nothing, no deposit, we got a 120% mortgage… although I have spent at least £2k/£3k on the place on credit doing it up and my ex hasnt put that much money into it.. Plus I have done a huge amount of the DIY and the gardening was all my hard work!
Q. Was the flat bought in joint names.
A. Yes, and we did it so that if one of us died, it would automatically go into the the other person.
Q.Would the flat sell (if at all in the current market) and for more or less than yr boyfriend’s dad is willing to pay.
A. We have neg equity so we would prob be in about £12k of debt.
Q. Are you able/willing to maintain and contribute to the maintenance and up-keep of the flat until the property market recovers?
A. I wouldnt really want to move out and leave him here in case he defaulted on the mortgage, it would have an effect on me.
I am trying to get hold of CAB, easier said then done thou!
